Perspectives awarded $400,000 government grant!

On October 4, Perspectives Charter Schools was awarded a $400,000, two-year grant from the U.S. Department of Education to help us spread the word about our A Disciplined Life curriculum.  Perspectives was one of only three schools nationwide to receive one of these "dissemination grants", which are designed to help high-quality charter schools partner with other schools to improve academic performance and share effective practices.  We will invest the grant funding in a program to extensively evaluate and refine the A Disciplined Life curriculum and ultimately share it with other schools.

A Disciplined Life has been the foundation of the Perspectives school culture for the past 15 years.  This grant is a recognition of the hard work our teachers and staff have put into helping our students live A Disciplined Life, and provides us with an opportunity to help even more students throughout our city and beyond.
