Perspectives Charter Schools' College for Certain practices and our culture of A Disciplined Life© lead to success for the students we serve. In 2011, 93% of our graduates enrolled in college, and 78% of our 2010 graduates who enrolled returned for their sophomore year. Our students are on track to beat the odds in a city where only 8% of public school students graduate from college.
The results from state standardized ISAT tests taken by 2010 eighth graders at the Rodney D. Joslin Middle School demonstrate that the Perspectives model helps our students begin to achieve early in their education. After just 3 years at Perspectives, our middle school students are outperforming their peers at most Chicago Public Schools and other local charter schools. These early successes provide a compelling reason to enroll your student in Perspectives in 6th grade. At Perspectives, we can transform what an urban education looks like for our students.
Perspectives Charter Schools is a network of 5 non-selective Chicago public schools. We admit students by blind lottery, not based on grades, test scores, residence or any other criteria.
