About Perspectives High School of Technology

Perspectives Charter Schools was founded in 1997 by two public school teachers who believe in quality education as the great equalizer.  One of the first charter schools in Illinois, Perspectives has grown to include five high-quality, open enrollment public schools serving grades six through twelve in the Chicago communities of Auburn Gresham, Grand Boulevard and the South Loop. Perspectives is committed to providing top quality education in urban public schools.  Our goal is to ensure that our students graduate from Perspectives prepared to succeed in college and in life.

Perspectives High School of Technology opened in 2007 and occupies the second floor of our three-school Calumet Campus at 81st and May in Auburn Gresham.  Serving 512 students, Perspectives High School of Technology has a curriculum that is rooted in computer technology.  The school celebrated its first graduation from this campus in 2010, effectively doubling the graduation rate for neighborhood students in just four years time.  Of our 2010 high school seniors, 97 percent have been accepted to college, the majority at four-year institutions!

Perspectives High School of Technology is led by Co-Principals Christina Page and Tony Pajakowski and a faculty devoted to making College for Certain for every one of the students they serve.  For more information about this school and to tour our campus, please call 773-358-6120.
