Perspectives Middle Academy Athletics

Perspectives Charter Schools' athletic program focuses on fostering competitive excellence as well as physical and character development. At PCS, 620 student-athletes participate on 50 teams in sports that include baseball, basketball, cross country, cheerleading, football, softball, track and volleyball.

Although the athletic program is relatively new, those teams have produced multiple Chicago Public League conference championships, numerous Chicago Public League city championship appearances, and many Illinois High School Association playoff victories. Research, meanwhile, shows that Perspectives student-athletes have higher attendance rates, better academic performance, and fewer discipline issues than non-athletes. PMA offers the following athletic teams:
