Welcome to Perspectives Middle Academy

Located in the former Calumet High School building in the Auburn Gresham community, Perspectives Middle Academy (PMA) is one of three schools that Perspectives Charter Schools opened in 2007. Our curriculum is aligned to the College Readiness Standards and our students regularly visit college campuses throughout the school year. Scholarship and A Disciplined Life© guide our future.

PMA is an Elev8 school and the only charter school in the city with a full-service health center. As a result of the Elev8 grant from the Atlantic Philanthropies and our partnership with LISC, the Greater Auburn-Gresham Development Corporation, and ACCESS Healthcare, PMA offers medical care through an onsite, full service health center. Additional school partners include: The Mikva Challenge; the University of Chicago’s Urban Education Institute; St. Sabina’s Center for Working Families; Calm Classroom/Luster Learning Institute; and, the Field Museum of Natural History.
