Parents

As proud parents of Perspectives students, you are encouraged to participate in your student's education. Perspectives Charter Schools believes that parental involvement is essential to a student's success in his or her academic journey. In keeping with this core belief, we coordinate and integrate a robust parental involvement policy.

For your reference, our Perspectives Charter Schools 2012-2013 Student Handbook provides a complete introduction to our school policies and procedures.

Highlights include –

  • To help develop a strong partnership between you and your child and our education leaders and teachers, Perspectives has mandatory Parent Meetings, Three-way Conferences, and Parent-Student Contracts.
  • The Parent Login provides access via Power School to your student's grades, attendance, and teacher comments.  It also allows you to sign up for email notifications.
  • We offer multiple opportunities for parents to volunteer to be active partners in the Perspectives Charter Schools network.  Volunteer-supported events include Parent Councils, Honor Roll Breakfast, Healthy Lifestyles Initiative activities, Student Work Expo, Field Studies, Athletics, Family and Community Math, Technology, Science and Literacy Nights.
